Getting Your Glasses Fixed
If you happen to lose or break your glasses, you have a few options. Firstly, you could try to survive without them, but this is hardly good advice. Secondly, you can attempt to have a spare pair sent to you from home. This is an acceptable option, but could prove to be a hassle if the postal service, known to be occasionally unreliable, mishandles or mistreats them. Lastly, you could have your damaged pair fixed or get an entirely new replacement pair. Given the low cost of purchasing a new pair in cheap frames, this is probably your best strategy. Check the local listing to find an optometrist in the area. After a quick exam, you can have a new pair for a small fraction of what it would cost in the United States.
